This recipe was passed down to me by a family friend. This sweet, delicious jelly serves as a great gift for the holidays (or anytime).
1. Combine pineapple, sugar, cherry liquid*, and lemon juice. Bring to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
2. Add cherries and Certo. Stir for 5 minutes.
3. Pour in jars and seal.
* I use the cherry juice from the jar of maraschino cherries. If there is not 3/4 cup of cherry juice in the jar, just add enough water to make 3/4 cup.

You can also make this a green jelly by using green maraschino cherries instead of red ones–they are just a little more difficult to find.
