Vegetarian Sausage Balls
Description
Tender cheesy biscuit with veggie sausage bits. Great as an appetizer or for breakfast.
Ingredients
- 1 bag (12 Oz. Bag) Morning Star Farms Sausage Crumbles
- ¼ cups Melted Butter
- ¼ cups Olive Oil
- 2 whole Eggs, Beaten
- ⅓ cups Milk
- 3 Tablespoons Hot Sauce
- 8 ounces, weight Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 2 cups Flour
- 1-½ teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1-½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- ½ teaspoons Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 teaspoon Poultry Seasoning
- ¼ teaspoons Cayenne Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoons Black Pepper
Preparation
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix the sausage crumbles, melted butter, olive oil, beaten eggs, milk, hot sauce, and cheddar cheese together in a large bowl. Next mix all remaining dry ingredients together in another bowl. Add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix together gently. If dough seems too stiff, add a tablespoon of milk. It will be like biscuit dough. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Bake for 17 minutes.
