Sweet purple yam jam used as a filling for Ube Rice Balls.
Melt butter over medium heat and then add the rest of the ingredients and mix. Continue to heat over medium until you get the right jam consistency. It took me about an hour over medium heat. Put the mixture into a storage container and refrigerate until use. This is great in my Ube Coconut Rice Balls. See my TastyKitchen Recipe Box for this recipe!
