An easy snack or main course! Even kids can help!
Boil potatoes in a pot of water on medium-high heat until soft (30-40 minutes). Drain them and place them in a large bowl. Mash them but still leave some big potato crumbs.
Add the tuna, bread crumbs, chicken bouillon powder, egg and pepper.
Mix until everything is combined.
Make little balls of the mixture and roll them in cornstarch.
Place the vegetable oil in a pot over medium high heat until it’s really hot and then fry the croquettes until brown. Make sure to turn them a few times to ensure all sides are brown, then when done drain croquettes on paper towels.
Serve with Tuna Croquettes Dip (see my TastyKitchen recipe box) or ketchup.

Sounds great! But we need to ask a friendly favor… We use standard capitalization and punctuation rules here at TastyKitchen – specifically for all titles, short descriptions and instructions. You’ve capitalized several words within sentences and also haven’t grouped the instructions into paragraphs. Would you mind tweaking your recipe for us, applying the above guidelines?? Purty please?? It’s an aesthetics and ease of reading thing – and I’m sure that you want folks drawn to your recipe – so by taking the time to fix this up before we post it the first time, you should be set for success!
Also, would you go into the ingredients list and specify the SIZE of the potatoes you use and also the specific size of the cans of tuna?
It’s also good to make sure and always include heat levels and cook time (for things like boiling the potatoes and also frying the croquettes).
When done, click ‘make recipe visible’ and ‘save’ and we’ll get this posted.
Thanks,
TKNanci
