A New Year’s Eve hit every year! I always take these and they disappear in a flash. My favorite aunt passed this recipe on to me.
Unroll the crescents, separate the triangles, then cut each triangle into 3 narrow triangles by cutting lengthwise (believe me, proportion doesn’t matter!). Place a smokie at the widest end and roll it up like a pig-in-a-blanket. Place seam side down in a 11×7 inch baking dish. Continue using up all the sausages.
Combine the butter, pecans, brown sugar and honey in a mixing bowl, the pour over the smokies. Bake uncovered at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until the crescents are golden brown. Then watch them disappear!
