Easy and tasty snack! Tastes like kettle corn, but with a little heat.
Pop all of the kernels using your preferred method for popping. Make sure to sift through the popped kernels and get rid of any that might have not popped. Those wouldn’t be fun to bite into later.
In a small pot over a medium high heat, combine the water and sugar. Stir until the sugar has completely dissolved.
Place popcorn onto a baking sheet and pour sugar mixture over the top, stirring quickly. Coat your popcorn completely and then top with cayenne and salt. Stir again.
Bake at 250ºF for 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes.
Then snack away!
