This recipe is a crowd pleaser.
Mix together all dip ingredients, leaving spinach till last. Place in the hollowed out bread. Wrap in foil and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Serve with crackers.
Notes:
I normally cut a piece of the bread off at the top and put that aside, and then hollow out the bread by pulling out the insides of the bread to make a bowl. I later put the top of the bread back on when baking the dip.
I have used real bacon bits for this recipe and it tastes better that the store-bought bacon bits. You get the real flavor of the bacon in the dip, which makes it even more fabulous.
