This is an easy dip to make for parties and can be presented beautifully in a nice bowl, making it look fancier than it really is!
Brown ground beef in a skillet and drain. Add a 16-oz. can of kidney beans (with the liquid) to the skillet over medium heat. Mash the kidney beans into the beef with a potato masher. Add ketchup (you can use hot ketchup to add more spice), chili powder, and salt. Mix thoroughly and heat through.
Place the meat mixture in the center of a large bowl, leaving room to add tortilla chips around the edge. Top with shredded cheddar cheese, sliced black olives, chopped tomatoes, sliced green onions, and dollops of sour cream.
