Basic household ingredients go into the slow cooker, and four hours later you have delicious homemade applesauce! Simple, tasty, and sure to taste better than anything out of a jar. Serve warm or cold.
Core, slice, and peel the apples. Place in the crock pot. Add remaining ingredients. Stir.
Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours, or until the apples are tender. Looking through the lid on mine, the apples appeared to be splitting when tender.
Mash with a fork, serve warm or chilled.
