An easy-to-prepare, super popular at parties appetizer spread. Credit goes to my mother-in-law, Lois Vollmer.
Mix the shrimp, cream cheese and Worcestershire sauce together and form into a ball. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate 6 hours or overnight.
Just before serving, pour the cocktail sauce over the ball in a dip bowl.
Serve as a “chip ‘n dip” with Triscuit crackers, or any other crackers of your choice. Make sure it’s a sturdy cracker, the spread will firm up in the fridge.

Oh my gosh! My mom makes the same recipe! Except she just spreads it onto a platter, kind of like a layered dip – cream cheese, then cocktail sauce, then shrimp and I think she adds shredded cheddar cheese (don’t quote me on that). She hasn’t made it in FOR.E.VER but it was always a big hit during our family holiday parties. Thanks for posting this trip down memory lane!
