The perfect addition to your appetizer table this holiday season.
In a medium saucepan, add the first six ingredients. Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat. Continue cooking, stirring and mashing often, until the jam has thickened, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool.
Slice baguette into 1/3 inch thick pieces and toast until golden brown on each side.
Spread the toasts with goat cheese and top with the jam.
