Wonderful dip for school lunches or after-school snack with apple slices or apple crisps!
Preparation time does not include 15-minute refrigeration time.
In a sauce pan on medium high heat, add butter, maple syrup, and dark brown sugar. Stir well as it cooks, being careful not to burn the mixture. As soon as you see small bubbles forming, remove from heat. Allow to cool completely.
In a bowl, add yogurt and vanilla extract and mix well. Refrigerate until caramel has cooled. Add cooled caramel to yogurt and stir well. Refrigerate 15 minutes.
To serve, sprinkle with sea salt and dip away!
