The perfect appetizer or afternoon snack. Quick and easy to make with only three ingredients, plus oil for frying. I have to admit, I love pretty much anything fried, and with cream cheese, you really can’t go wrong. These are pretty rich, but oh so good!
Heat about 2 inches of oil in a heavy pot or cast iron skillet to about 350 degrees. Mix cream cheese and salmon together and place a teaspoonful on a wonton wrapper. Dip your finger in a little water and wet all edges of the wrapper. Fold in half to make a triangle, sealing edges and then fold two corners together, meeting in the middle. Repeat with remaining filling. Fry a few puffs at a time until lightly browned. Remove to drain on a paper-towel-lined plate. Serve hot or at room temperature.
