Sweet and savory, anyone?
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
In a shallow mixing bowl, add fig halves and honey. Use clean hands to mix and make sure figs are evenly coated with honey.
Add honey-coated fig halves to 2 nonstick rimmed baking sheets. Pop into the hot oven and roast 15 minutes. Remove and let cool. Leave oven on.
When cool enough to handle, wrap each roasted fig half with a slice of bacon and return to baking sheet. Place back into the oven for 5–6 minutes.
Remove from oven onto paper towels to absorb any excess grease, then place on a serving platter.
These never last long. Hope you’ll enjoy!
