Roasted chickpeas are a low-fat, spicy and crunchy snack. Great for watching the games—or any time of the day!
1. Preheat oven to 350 F. After rinsing and draining the chickpeas, pick through to remove any rogue skins that are in the bunch.
2. Toss all the ingredients together in a large bowl then spread the chickpeas in a single layer on a sheet pan.
3. Roast for 1 hour. After 1 hour, turn oven off while the chickpeas are still inside. Let oven cool off while the chickpeas are still in there (this should take about 30 minutes).
4. Remove from oven and enjoy.
