Sautéed mushrooms in garlic and oil is a versatile full-flavored recipe that can be served with a toothpick as an appetizer or on top of your favorite steak or pasta!
Rinse and slice mushrooms. Drizzle in 1 tablespoon oil and toss to coat evenly.
Add remaining 4 tablespoons oil into frying pan over medium low heat. When oil is warm (not hot), add mushrooms. Cook gently for 4 minutes. Add garlic, parsley, salt and pepper and cook gently for 5 minutes. Add breadcrumbs to soak up juices. Turn up heat for a moment to finish cooking, and you’re done!
