Description

Need some awesome munchies? Looking to clog your arteries? I have the answer.

Ingredients

  • 24 whole Tater Tots, Slit Lengthwise
  • 2 ounces, weight Cheddar Cheese, Cut Into 24 Rectangles
  • 12 strips Bacon, Center Cut, Cut In Half Crosswise

Preparation

Preheat oven to 450ºF. Place a baking rack/cookie cooling rack thingy into a rimmed baking sheet.

Make a cut lengthwise into the tater tot, going through only about halfway. Careful with that knife. Partially frozen cylindrical things can be tricky to cut. Insert a rectangle of cheese, and wrap with a half piece of bacon. Insert a toothpick to secure. Place on the rack in the baking sheet. Repeat for all tater tots.

Bake at 450ºF for 15–20 minutes or until desired bacon crispness.
