These homemade tamari almonds are a salty, savory snack. They are a perfect on the go snack or item to bring to your next gathering.
Preheat oven to 300ºF.
Place raw almonds on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cook almonds for 10 minutes in preheated oven. Remove almonds from oven and pour into a large bowl. Pour tamari over warm almonds. Stir completely and soak in tamari for 20 minutes. Stir 1-2 times as almonds soak.
Place soaked almonds back on parchment-paper-lined baking sheet. Bake soaked almonds for 20 minutes. When almonds come out of oven, they will still be a bit soft. Almonds will firm up as they cool.
