A flavorful and quick cheese spread to bring to a party or to put in a pretty crock or jar as a gift. It’s a staple in my Christmas baskets. This is a real flavor burst and lasts a long time in the fridge. Use the herbs you like and tailor it to your taste.
Soften cheeses to ease mixing, then mix all ingredients together till well blended and refrigerate. That’s it. If you want more seasoning, be my guest. Just don’t wimp out on the garlic. Use a nice, hefty clove. I like to freshly crack pepper so big pepper pieces are throughout.
You can make it in advance and let the mixture of flavors ‘get happy’ in the fridge for a while prior to serving. It never hangs around long enough to really put it to the test, but it keeps for a nice bit of time.
