My husband and I LOVE hot wings, but can’t justify eating fried food all the time, so we came up with a healthier version of hot wings that still taste JUST AS GOOD! We make these for all sports parties and they always get rave reviews!
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Combine the butter, hot sauce, pepper and garlic powder in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir together and heat until butter is melted and mixture is well blended. Remove from heat.
3. In a small bowl mix together the flour, paprika, cayenne pepper and salt. Place chicken wings in a large non-porous glass dish or bowl and sprinkle flour mixture over them until they are evenly coated. Cover dish or bowl and refrigerate for 60 to 90 minutes.
4. Dip wings in the hot sauce.
5. Spray the pan with Pam and then lay chicken wings ½” apart. Bake for 45 minutes. Then turn the oven to 375 degrees and spray the wings with Pam and let them bake for 5 more minutes so they get crispy.

These wings look better than most. I can add more cayenne and hot paprika. In other words build the fire in them. I hope you don’t mind the changes I want to make. Will get 3 or 4 lbs of wings next trip to store.
Thanks for sharing. God Bless.
