This is a very simple appetizer with just a few ingredients. They have been a holiday tradition in my family for as long as I can remember!
You’re probably not going to end up with an even number of ham slices and pickles.
Lay out a slice of ham and blot the moisture with a paper towel. Spread cream cheese over the surface of the ham. Take a whole pickle and dry it off. Roll the pickle up in the cream cheese-coated ham. Repeat until you run out of one of the ingredients (whichever runs out first, then stop!).
Place the rolls in the refrigerator to firm the cream cheese. Remove from the refrigerator and slice, making the slices about ¼ inch wide.
These are very simple, but always make a big impression! You’ll be surprised how great they are.

I love ham rolls. My mom used to add something to the cream cheese to pep it up a bit but I remember my brothers and I eating these like they were going out of style! Thanks for the reminder.
