The easiest, tastiest appetizer you’ll ever make! These meatballs are a holiday tradition in my family, and even my vegetarian sister is known to sneak a couple when no one is looking. You can make your own meatballs, but to be honest, pre-cooked, frozen meatballs stand up better in the slow cooker.
Throw the meatballs, chili sauce, and grape jelly into the slow cooker and give it a good stir.
Mix in a good squirt of dijon or yellow mustard for extra tang (optional).
Place lid on cooker and set for 3 hours on high or 6 hours on low. Stir occasionally.
Serve as an appetizer or in a buffet line.
This recipe can easily be doubled or even tripled. Make more than you think you’ll need—they heat up great the day after for a quick lunch, too.

I love this recipe. I’ve used the sauce with diced chicken breasts and popcorn chicken served over rice. Good stuff!

if you can’t find chile sauce, just substitute ketchup and a little pepper for heat!
the grape jelly cooks down and makes a sweet, sticky sauce and the chile adds a little kick
this is my favorite bbq sauce (with a little garlic and onion powder) on chicken, turkey, ribs, etc.
love it!

Seriously! If someone doesn’t make these each Christmas, the family men get ticked off! lol Dipping a meatball in the velveeta/rotel dip is a must. Great recipe.
