Description

This appetizer has button mushrooms flavored with ginger strips and chili.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 8 strips Ginger
  • 7 cloves Garlic, Crushed
  • 3  Green Chilies, Roughly Chopped
  • 3 whole Onion, Chopped
  • 1 whole Medium Size Broccoli, Roughly Chopped
  • 1-½ cup Mushrooms, Cut In Half
  • 3 Tablespoons Red Chili Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Curry Paste
  • ½ teaspoons Ground Black Pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • Salt To Taste

Preparation

Heat cooking oil in a pan over high heat and add ginger strips. Fry until they turn brown and crispy. Add garlic and green chili, and sauté for a few seconds. Add onions and saute for 1 minute or until they begin to soften.

Add broccoli and cook until caramelized or browned. Add mushrooms and cook until soft.

Add little bit of water to red chili powder to make instant chili paste. Add to pan. Add curry paste, black pepper, and soy sauce. Keep stirring. Add salt and mix well.

Remove from heat and serve hot.
