This is my friend Fonda’s recipe for homemade caramel corn.
Pop popcorn in the microwave and place in a large mixing bowl.
Boil together butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, baking soda and salt for 5 minutes (rolling boil, stirring constantly; turn back heat once boil starts). Pour over popcorn and mix until coated. Bake at 200 degrees for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
