Description

This hummus combines the traditional garbanzo beans with shelled edamame. Edamame is high in protein and fiber. We like it with pita chips and fresh veggies. It is also delicious spread on flatbread and then piled high with your favorite toppings.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag (16 Oz. Size) Frozen Shelled Edamame, Thawed And Drained
  • 1 can (15 Oz. Size) Garbanzo Beans
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Peeled
  • 3 Tablespoons Tahani, Sesame Seed Paste
  • 1 whole Lemon Juiced (about 3 Tablespoons)
  • ½ teaspoons Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • ¼ teaspoons Black Pepper
  • ¼ cups Olive Oil

Preparation

Combine all of the ingredients except for the olive oil in the bowl of a food processor. Process until combined. With the food processor running, pour the oil through the chute and continue processing until combined. If the hummus is not creamy enough, add 1 tablespoon of water at a time until desired consistency is reached. Taste and add more seasonings as desired.
