This is really simple and sooo good. I use it for crostinis, as sandwich spread, mixed with alfredo sauce for pasta …

Ingredients

  • ¼ cups Fresh Basil, Chopped
  • ¼ cups Parmesan, Grated
  • ½ cups Oil Packed Sun-dried Tomatoes, Drained
  • ½ teaspoons Garlic, Minced
  • 1 Tablespoon (heaping) Pine Nuts (See Note)
  • 1 Tablespoon (heaping) Walnuts, Chopped
  • ½ cups Olive Oil

Preparation

1. Place all ingredients EXCEPT the olive oil in a food processor and blend until they are all combined.

2. Slowly add the olive oil as the blender is running until everything is thoroughly combined again.

Easy enough, right?

Note: Pine nuts can be expensive and I’m sure the recipe wouldn’t be detrimentally affected by just doubling the walnuts!

delicious! sun dried tomato pesto at the grocery store is insanely expensive so i was happy to find an easy recipe. i put it through my food processor with some cream cheese to make sun dried tomato pesto cream cheese :) thanks so much for sharing!
