I love homemade salsa and I spent years trying to perfect it. I think this is the perfect combination of salsa ingredients and it is totally addictive!
Coarsely chop tomatoes, tomatillos, onions, and serrano pepper and toss together in a large bowl. Working in batches, pulse veggies in a food processor, pulsing each batch to a different fineness (i.e. one batch can be a little coarse, one a little finer, and at least one needs to be processed until smooth). Pour salsa into a large bowl and add the lime juice, salt, and cilantro. Mix well. Refrigerate at least 1 hour prior to serving.
