Description

I’ve been making this snack mix since 1993. It is good for all occasions or no occasion. Just good to have around. The cereal and nuts are a good combination with the dill weed and ranch flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1 box Oyster Crackers (18 Oz Box)
  • 1-½ cup Melba Toast Crackers (broken Into Pieces)
  • 1 cup Pecan Pieces Or Halves Or Nuts Of Your Choice
  • 1-½ cup Kix Cereal
  • 1-½ cup Corn Chex Cereal
  • ¾ cups Pretzel Sticks Broken Into Halves
  • 1 cup Oil (I Use Canola)
  • 1 package Ranch Dressing Mix, 1 Oz. Packet
  • 1 teaspoon Dillweed
  • ½ teaspoons Lemon Pepper
  • ½ teaspoons Garlic Powder

Preparation

Preheat oven to 200 F.

Split the crackers, pecans, cereal and pretzels evenly between 2 large pans, toss to combine and spread it out. I use 9 x 13″ pans.

Mix the last five ingredients (oil through garlic) in a small bowl then pour it over the crackers and cereal and toss to coat. Bake in a 200 F oven for 20-30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Remove from oven and let it cool completely. Then store in tins or Ziplock bags.
