Curried Chutney Spread

Description
Easy, colorful cheese spread with a mild curry flavor. Use your favorite brand of chutney or your own homemade.
Ingredients
- 1 package Cream Cheese (8 Oz.)
- 4 ounces, weight Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- ½ teaspoons Curry Powder
- ¼ teaspoons Salt
- 3 Tablespoons Dry Sherry
- ½ cups Chutney, Chopped If Pieces Are Large
- 2 whole Green Onions, White And Light Green Parts Sliced
Preparation
Combine first 5 ingredients well. Spread in a shallow serving dish and top with chutney and green onions. Serve with Bremmer wafers or other plain cracker.

I had this dip at a Christmas potluck last year. I elbowed a co-worker out of the way to get the last of it.
The friend who brought it added a bit more curry powder and sprinkled some raisins & pine nuts on the top of her version.
If you’re in Canada she served it with Dare’s Simple Pleasures Spice Snaps (out of this world).
Try this dip – you won’t be disappointed!
