Do you like guacamole dip but always feel it is missing something? Or, do you like it but someone you know does not? This easy and creamy guacamole recipe could be the answer! The sour cream and chopped vegetables give this dip interesting texture, and the chives in place of cilantro could be the key for those with guacamole aversion. Plus, the light green color is so much more appetizing!
Cut and dice avocados and put in bowl. Squeeze lemon or lime juice onto the avocado.
Chop tomatoes, onion, chives and garlic. Add to the bowl. Add sour cream, salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste. Stir together with a spoon, fork, or potato masher until the desired texture has been reached.
Taste with a tortilla chip and add more seasoning if desired. Serve!
To store leftover dip, squeeze more lemon or lime on top and cover tightly. Remove discolored top layer before eating. Consume within 24 hours.
