A twist on the classic avocado! You can’t put this down once you get started! If it’s impossible to find green tomatoes in your area, add more tomatillos to make up the difference.
1. In a medium sauce pan add: jalapenos, tomatillos, green tomatoes & garlic. Do not add any water. The juice from these vegetables will cook out. Simmer (covered) for 5 minutes or so until vegetables soften.
2. Peel skin off tomatoes.
3. Transfer softened vegetables to a blender or food processor and add salt, cilantro. Blend until smooth. Add avocados and blend a few seconds longer.
4. Pour this into a serving dish and add sour cream.
Can be served chilled or warm!!
