This is a delicious side that I grew up eating my entire life, and now I make them for my kids.
Clean potatoes and dice into cubes. Cook in boiling water until potatoes are fork tender, drain and set aside.
While potatoes are cooking, melt butter in a sauce pan. Add onions and garlic and cook until tender. When onions are tender, lower heat to medium low. Add flour and bouillion to the butter, onions and garlic. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes to cook out the raw flour taste.
Add milk and cook until thick and bubbly. Add seasonongs, peas and cheese. When cheese is melted, add the cooked, drained potatoes. Stir to combine. Enjoy.
