Description

A wonderful side dish or appetizer dish for entertaining.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces, weight Fresh Cranberries
  • 2 whole Oranges, Your Choice Of Type
  • 1 cup Walnuts, Toasted
  • 2 cups Sugar

Preparation

Rinse the cranberries well and pat them dry.

Peel and quarter your oranges. Remove all seeds.

Combine the cranberries and oranges and put them into a food processor.

Pulse until coarsely chopped and pour into a bowl.

Add sugar and walnuts and stir until well combined.

Garnish with orange zest curls or fresh cranberries.

* You can even make this a day before and refrigerate it overnight and it really blends the flavors more.

So easy and fresh. I called it cranberry orange salsa. I didn’t have walnuts so I used almonds. Perfect for the turkey dinner table. Some even tried it on crackers. I will have to make another batch for the leftover turkey, since there’s only a tiny bit left over.
