Description

Really? Do they need any more introduction than their name?

Ingredients

  • ¼ whole Red Onion, Diced Finely
  • 4 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 package (8oz) Cream Cheese, Softened
  • ¾ cups Asagio Shredded Cheese, Or Your Favorite Cheese
  • 1 can (5 To 8 Oz. Can) Lump Crap Meat, Drained And Picked Through
  • 4 whole Medium Or Large Portabella Mushroom Caps, Cleaned And Destemmed

Preparation

1. Saute the onion and garlic in oil until caramelized.

2. Mix sauteed onions and garlic with cream cheese, shredded cheese, and crab meat.

3. Divide the filling into 4 equal parts and fill mushroom caps with filling mix.

4. Grill for 12 – 15 minutes on medium/high heat until caps are still firm but cooked through and filling is browned. (May also be broiled.)

These were so tasty! Along with the onion and garlic, I also used chives! I will definitely have to make these again!
