These are a delicious crispy, salty…and did I mention DELICIOUS Turkish snack. I’m not Turkish, but my friend is, and when she showed me a picture of these, I HAD to try them.
Mix the feta cheese and the chopped parsley together in a bowl. Set Aside.
Lay phyllo dough vertically and cut in half from top to bottom. Now cut each of those rectangles diagonally from top to bottom to make 2 triangles from each sheet. You should now have 12 triangles.
Place 1t. of the filling about 1/4 of an inch from the bottom of the long side of the triangle, and roll up until you have about an inch of the point left, and brush on some water with your fingertips or a brush, and roll up to seal.
Heat oil in a skillet, and fry boreks on medium until they’re golden brown. Be Careful because they cook fast!!
Drain on paper towels, and serve warm….or room temp! They’re delicious no matter what.
