Chinese Style Deep Fried Chicken Wings. This dish uses a special ingredient called tofu cheese to provide a strong but delicious taste.
1. Mix all the marinade ingredients (everything but the wings) in a big bowl evenly. Add the chicken wings. Use your hands to gently massage the chicken wings with the marinade to ensure the marinade covers the chicken wings evenly. If you have any excess marinade on the chicken, be sure to gently brush this off with your hand.
2. Marinate the chicken wings for at least 1 hour.
3. Heat up the oil to around 180ºC (or 355ºF). Deep fry the chicken wings until they have turned a light golden brown colour.
