Easy, delicious and impressive! Best made when basil is fresh and in season.
Cut basil into fun shapes, like triangles and squares. Cut grape tomatoes in half if big and/or if you want to avoid the “small tomato squirt disaster” on your carpet. Place a mozzarella ball, then your basil piece, then the tomato on a skewer. Repeat until your plate is full. Sprinkle balsamic vinegar over the mozzarella, and finish with freshly cracked black pepper.
