It’s a salad we all know and love and it’s one of my favorites to eat, especially in the summer!
Simply stack up the ingredients!
I stack: tomato, mozzarella, two basil leaves. For the top, I take the remaining basil leaves, stack those up, roll the stack, and slice it so it creates ribbons (a.k.a. chiffonade). Sprinkle the remaining basil on top. Splash with some olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Sprinkle with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Really, I could eat the entire thing, but I suppose it is about 2 servings if you want to share. Enjoy!
