Description

How can a holiday party be celebrated without baked brie? Well, that is why you should totally make this delicious recipe for any special occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 whole Sheet Of Puff Pastry
  • 1 wheel (8 Oz. Size) Brie Cheese
  • ½ cups Candied Pecans
  • ¼ cups Brown Sugar
  • 1  Egg, Beaten

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 375ºF then make sure your puff pastry is defrosted. Flour a flat surface and a rolling pin and lay out your puff pastry on top. Flatten out the pastry and also stretch out the edges with the pin. Unwrap your brie cheese and slice off the top part of it, exposing some cheese. Place it in the middle of the pastry sheet and top it with the pecans and brown sugar. Then grab the edges of the sheet and hold it together in the middle and tie it with kitchen twine. Then brush some beaten egg all over the pastry and place it on top of a nonstick baking dish. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes and then once it is done, take it out and serve immediately.

Nice easy recipe. I will probably let sit for a few minutes before cutting it in the future, since brie is so runny when melted.
