We recently moved to a small town in Northern NV. Upon visiting our local Mexican restaurant we were asked if we wanted cabbage with our chips and salsa. Always up for something new I tried it out. YUM!
Thinly slice the onions and add them to the cabbage. Add as many jalapenos as you wish, and about 1/4- 1/2 the liquid from the can.
Add the cilantro, lime juice, salt and oregano. I know oregano seems wrong, but trust me.
Marinate together for at least an hour.
This is great with chips, fish tacos or as a spicy slaw.

Oh girl…you’re speaking my language (and your bowl is gorgeous as well). Nothing like a spicy fish taco with some great tasting slaw on the top. Can’t wait to try it.
