Rinse peanuts well to get any dirt or debris off of them.
In a large bowl, soak your peanuts overnight covered in fresh clean water. They will try to float to the top. Use a plate to weigh them down in the water.
The next morning, drain your peanuts and add them into your slow cooker (I have a 6-quart slow cooker.) Add 4 cups of water and the seasonings.
Cook on high for 5-7 hours, or until peanuts are soft. Squeeze them out of their soft shells and enjoy!
