Preheat oven to 425 F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and place a rack on top.
Cut the boneless chicken breast into about 12 or 14 pieces, each about 1 1/2 inches thick.
Slice each jalapeno pepper in half lengthwise, then slice it in half again across the width. Remove the seeds. Place one square of jalapeno pepper on top of each chicken bite. Wrap a piece of bacon around each piece of chicken and secure with a toothpick.
Brush each bacon chicken jalapeno bite with BBQ sauce until all sides are covered and place on the rack in the baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until chicken is cooked to 165 F and the bacon has crisped up but isn’t burnt.
