This dip is so sweet and sticky and … well, awesome! Great for a healthy after-school snack! But be careful because it’s addictive!
Begin by placing the dates in a small glass bowl. Pour the hot water over the dates and allow them to sit for about 15 minutes, or until soft.
Add dates and soaking water into a high-speed blender or food processor and pulse until fluffy and smooth. Add in the almond butter, cinnamon, vanilla and salt. Pulse until smooth and fluffy, adding warm water to obtain desired consistency.
Pour into a pretty bowl, garnish with chopped almonds and maybe a little cinnamon and enjoy with apple slices, on toast, or even straight up!
