Another tasty way to have asparagus.
Mix the first four ingredients in a bowl.
On a well floured surface, roll the puff pastry out very thin. (Be sure to keep roller floured, and flip pastry piece to roll each way). With a sharp knife cut the pastry into 6 or 8 equal sized rectangles. Put a generous amount of filling, length wise and centered, on each rectangle. Dot edges of the pastry with the egg. Fold edges together and crimp around with a fork. Brush top of roll with the egg mixture. Put on a baking pan and bake in a 350 degree F oven for 7 to 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
