One of the most amazing appetizers you will ever try!
Preheat your oven to 400 F.
Cut the ends off of your fresh asparagus spears, and add them to a microwave safe dish with a lid. Add the 2 tablespoons of water into the dish and put the lid on. Steam in the microwave for 4 minutes.
While asparagus is steaming, lay out your puff pastry sheet on a work surface. Cut into 1 inch strips using a pizza cutter and set aside. Pull apart your pieces of prosciutto and cut into smaller slices if necessary.
When asparagus is done steaming, drain off the water and toss with salt and pepper. Take a piece of prosciutto and fold ends in so that it fits on a strip of puff pastry. Wrap your prosciutto lined puff pastry around a spear of asparagus and set on a greased cookie sheet. Continue until you wrap up all remaining asparagus.
Bake in the oven for 15 minutes or until puff pastry if puffy and golden. Enjoy!
