Great for adult company to snack on before or after dinner.
Note: Place frozen phyllo dough in the refrigerator the night before you plan to make these snacks. Working with thawed phyllo dough is a job requiring patience, as the sheets are extremely thin. However, the end result is so flavorful and worth every minute!
In a mixing bowl, add cream, sugar, and Amaretto. Whip until soft peaks form. Refrigerate whipped Amaretto cream until ready to use.
Preheat oven to 375ºF.
On a clean work surface dusted with flour or confectioners sugar, lay out one sheet of phyllo dough. Use a brush to gently coat with melted butter. Add another sheet on top and brush with butter. Continue 2 more times (4 sheets thick). Layer on some whipped Amaretto cream and smooth out with an offset spatula. Carefully roll phyllo dough lengthwise and brush again with melted butter. Place on a nonstick baking sheet. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
Bake for 12 minutes, keeping an eye on them after 10 minutes. Remove from oven when golden brown, Plate and serve.
