Description

Attention hot wing fans, this is the dip for you! It is AMAZING and will be the hit of your party!

Ingredients

  • 4 whole Chicken Breasts, Boiled, Drained And Shredded
  • 12 ounces, fluid Frank's Hot Buffalo Wing Sauce (do NOT Substitute)
  • 2 blocks (8 Oz. Block) Cream Cheese
  • 16 ounces, fluid Ranch Dressing
  • ½ cups Chopped Celery
  • 8 ounces, weight Shredded Monterey Jack, Sharp Cheddar Cheese Or A Combination Thereof

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 F.

In a 13x9x2 inch baking pan, combine the shredded chicken meat with the Frank’s hot sauce, spreading to form an even layer.

In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine the cream cheese with the Ranch dressing, stirring till smooth and hot. Pour this mixture evenly over the chicken mixture to form a second layer.

Sprinkle celery over the top, then sprinkle cheese over the top of that. Bake uncovered for 15-20 minutes till hot and bubbly. (You don’t want the top to get browned or it will be hard.)

Serve hot!

I made something similar to this for work one day. The only variations were I used one package of cream cheese, one can of chicken, about 1/2 cup of Ranch, and 1/2-3/4 cup of Frank’s Hot Sauce, and one cup of cheddar cheese. Then I put it in the microwave for a little while. I might try this version at home…sounds even better!

AWESOME. I made and ate with Tortilla chips as I’m a veggie hater. My husband used celery and said it was WAY better with the celery. Either way, great dip for parties. Makes so much, not good for my rear end to make for just my husband and I. That didn’t stop me from trying to ingest it all.

I LOVE buffalo chicken dip! Funny, this is the second recipe I’ve seen which features ranch dressing instead of bleu cheese, maybe there’s something to be said for that! Either way I’m making it this weekend for guests – hopefully I’ll get to eat some! Thank you for sharing!

So Good! I made this for NYE and substituted blue cheese like the other comment suggested and it was amazing. I could have ate myself sick on this. Bonus, any left overs heat up nicely the next day.

This dip has been used for many a family get together and is always the last to go. We normally omit the celery, though.

We also keep this in the crockpot so it stays hot and bubbly for awhile!
