This recipe originated from a very dear friend. Since we in the USA do not have the kind of cheese available to us that my friend uses, I adapted and came close. Another easy dip for the upcoming holiday season.
Allow the cream cheese and the spreadable cheese to come to room temperature. You need the cheese pliable so you can mix the two together.
Spread the mixed cheeses on a platter then top with some of the red pepper jelly. When you dip the cracker you need to get a taste of the jelly that compliments the sharp cheddar.
