My husband requested salsa verde and I’m glad I found this recipe! We like the heat from serranos so used 2 serranos and 1 jalapeno.

Great recipe!! So easy and cleanup is a breeze. Will definitely make this my go-to salsa verde recipe!! Would be very easy to add ingredients for different flavors. Thanks!

Very good, easy recipe! I was a bit short on time, so I roasted these under the broiler, it cut the time in half. I also added a roasted habanero and the juice from one lime. Excellent!

This salsa is so good! Do you mean two heads of garlic?

This was wonderful. It was very easy and quick and I think the roasting brought out so much sweetness in the tomatillos. I will be making batches of this as the tomatillos in my garden ripen!

I was wondering if you’ve ever frozen or canned this salsa? I was considering freezing some of it, but it would probably turn brown without the addition of some lime or lemon juice. Do you have any suggestions?
