For those of us who love canned green beans from the garden but don’t have any on hand, this is a delicious and easy way to take green beans from fresh to table in less than an hour!
Wash and chop green beans into approximately 1 1/2 inch pieces. Combine beans and dressing in a pot, then add enough water to cover just over the top of beans (approximately 1 cup). Bring to a rapid boil. Continue to boil for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat, add remaining ingredients, and cover. Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
